Community work

Over the years, the University of Nairobi has taken to different activities in giving back to the community. Either through research activities, physical health check ups, planting of trees, clean up activities, visiting children homes et cetera.

These activities have been carried out by different staff and students through departments and students' clubs and unons.

Faculty have also given back to the community through consultancy.

This is an item on the yearly performance contract that is used to measure departmental productivity and output.

Through the University's partnership, students have received mentorship, Scholarship and internship opportunities through the CSR agreement.
