The University of Nairobi Faculty registrars and central admin representatives, under the leadership of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Human Resource and Administration, Prof. John Mande engaged in a rigorous two-day workshop reviewing the University's Customer service delivery charter.
Speaking during the official opening, Prof. Mande called the University staff to go an extra mile in enthusiasm when working and on teamwork. He underscored how services offered by the University touch on all the staff, and therefore the success and growth of the institution depends on all staff delivering on their roles.
Prof. Mande applauded the Committee that led the exercise that was headed by Dr. Jane Thuo.
The two-day workshop saw registrars redefine the University's services, implement the changes, while acknowledging the weaknesses and strengths in the previous customer service delivery charter. The University has so far implemented changes that were to be reflected in the service charter.
